The game culture festival 'GXG 2026 (Game culture X Generation 2026)', hosted by Seongnam City and organized by the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency and the Game Culture Foundation, will take place around the Pangyo Station plaza from September 11 to 12.

On September 10, just a day before the grand opening, a pre-event titled 'GXG Busking Time' will be held on Pangyo Content Street. Starting from September 11, the main event—offering various ways to enjoy game culture through performances, game play, creative experiences, cosplay, and exhibitions—will unfold across the Pangyo Station central plaza and the Tech One Tower area.

Running from 5 PM to 9 PM on September 10 on Pangyo Content Street, the pre-event 'GXG Busking Time' features five bands comprised of office workers from the game industry. Employees working at gaming companies will take the stage to perform.

On September 11, starting at 6 PM on the main stage at the Pangyo Station central plaza, a celebratory performance by Dynamic Duo will kick off. This will be followed by the finals of the game music competition 'The 3rd GXG SOUND TRACK'.

On September 12, starting at 12 PM on the Illustar Festa stage, the finals of the Korean subculture contest cosplay dance category, an indie idol showcase, and Kkotgami's game music live performance will follow in succession. From 3:30 PM to 4 PM, the 'AI Game Sound Design Challenge (AI GSDC)' award ceremony will be held.

Later, starting at 5 PM on the main stage at the Pangyo Station central plaza, the 'GXG Gala Concert' will commence. Neople's disabled cello performance ensemble 'Ensemble Heal' and the National Gugak Center Contemporary Orchestra, which reinterprets game music into traditional Korean music, will take the stage, alongside the finalists of the GXG SOUND TRACK performing their contest and free choice tracks.

At Pangyo Station North Plaza A, visitors can enjoy game play, creative activities, and cosplay. At the 'GXG Play Lounge', visitors can play console games. The brand experience zone offers activities such as drawing personal brawlers, taking four-cut photo booths, experiencing game character voice acting, creating game sounds using AI technology, and playing board games.

At the 'GXG Costume Experience Zone', visitors can try on various costumes and experience face painting and tattoo stickers. It is also possible to participate in the festival wearing self-prepared cosplay outfits. At North Plaza B's 'Illustar Festa', character goods and creative content presented by professional cosplay teams and creators can be found.

The GXG Costume Gallery | Smilegate × RZCOS allows visitors to admire Lost Ark character costumes, weapons, and props. At the Tech One Tower 2nd floor 'GXG SOUND TRACK Exhibition', original creative songs and their motivating games that made the finals from 2024 to 2026 will be introduced. The central plaza GXG Social Contribution Exhibition highlights social contribution activities within the game industry, and a stamp rally will be operated where participants can collect stamps by engaging in major festival programs to win various prizes.
