This latest patch expands the gameplay repertoire by introducing fresh actions and item-handling mechanics. The developer’s core focus here is giving you a broader range of choices during combat, traversal, and looting, spicing up the overall play experience and letting you adapt more creatively to various situations and environments.

First off, unarmed combat now features a kick action, allowing you to shove other players or smash through certain objects like windows and wooden doors. You can also use secondary and throwable weapons while treading water, and both swimming and diving speeds have been bumped up by 25%. These additions serve up brand-new tactical options from close-quarters skirmishes to aquatic getaways, which should seriously shake up standard match flows.

Item interactions have received a proper overhaul, too. You can now physically pick up and carry items scattered on the ground depending on their type, or toss them directly to teammates. Healing items, booster items, and select deployable items can also be used instantly. All of this cuts down on fiddly inventory management so you can get back to keeping your eyes firmly on the battlefield.
