Look, let's be honest, 2K announced on the 11th that Borderlands 4 is getting a fresh batch of Vault Hunters and chunky DLC packs. The upcoming spread features the sixth Vault Hunter, Loveless the Hacker, alongside paid add-ons like Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort, and Bounty Pack 5: Amara and the Vile Shadows.

First up, Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort takes you to the tropical island of Providence. You team up with the beastmaster FL4K to rescue a loyal Skag companion, Mr. Chew, from Lieutenant Harmony's elite Tediore troops. Expect volcanic bunker infiltration, jungle zip-lining, and diving into Tediore's Digiverse servers, while facing exo-suited soldiers who keep fighting even after biting the dust, massive weapon-mounted mechs, and mini-bosses crawling out of Ordonite-infused lava.

Joining the fray is Loveless the Hacker, an Anshin operative turned assassin who blends biological augments with digital wizardry. This character summons materialized Wyrm-shaped viruses onto the battlefield, relying on slick mobility and a combat style tailored around critical hits, status effects, and corrosive or radiation elemental damage.

Then there is Bounty Pack 5: Amara and the Vile Shadows, where Amara investigates dimensional anomalies at Vile Lictor's old laboratory on the moon of Elpis. It rolls out repeatable new missions, bosses, mini-bosses, and fresh enemy archetypes, rewarding you with skins usable by all Vault Hunters, new vehicles, ECHO-4 drone skins, turquoise weapons, and legendary gear upon completion. A separately purchasable Vault Card 5 also unlocks 24 cosmetic items and 4 re-rollable gear pieces.

On top of that, details on the 1.10 update dropping alongside the DLC have been revealed. Version 1.10 bumps the level cap up by 10 levels and rolls out various Vault Hunter balance tweaks. Plus, individual items from Story Pack 1 and Bounty Pack 2 will now be available for separate purchase.
