Look, let's be honest, NC has just dropped the final massive update, Code of Creation, for Guild Wars 2's latest PC MMORPG expansion, Visions of Eternity, across North America and Europe. Launched back in October of last year, Visions of Eternity is the sixth expansion in the lineup, steadily expanding its content through quarterly major updates.

Code of Creation follows hot on the heels of May's The Only Way, serving as the grand finale for the expansion's story arc. Players can dive into the new exploration area, Leyspring Hollows, to witness how the tale surrounding the main stage of Castora Island wraps up. While exploring this zone, players will master new masteries and rake in various rewards, including fresh armor and weapon sets.

Cooperative combat has also been beefed up. Players can tackle Nexus of Eternity, which rolls out as both a 10-player raid and a massive 50-player convergence. Plus, a new 5-player fractal mini-dungeon, Solitary Throne, joins the fray. Although the raid and convergence share the same name, they are entirely separate pieces of content featuring different group sizes and tactical approaches. Higher-difficulty challenge modes will also be rolled out down the line.

On top of all that, a shiny new legendary weapon, Wages of Stars, has been added alongside new relics designed to push character builds even further. The Wizard's Vault is also returning with a fresh seasonal haul waiting for players to claim.

With this update, Visions of Eternity delivers on every single promise made at launch, including two new zones, a 10-player raid, and legendary gear. Anyone who has already purchased the expansion can enjoy all this fresh content at no extra cost.
