NEXUS Co., Ltd. announced on the 16th that Mblock Company has joined as a OneChain validator. Mblock Company is a blockchain-specialized subsidiary of Maekyung Media, and through this partnership, it will directly participate in block generation and transaction validation for the OneChain network. Consequently, NEXUS Co., Ltd. is expected to strengthen the stability of the OneChain ecosystem and accelerate its expansion.

Mblock Company has previously carried out validation node operations and digital asset information and content businesses. In particular, the company has accumulated node operation experience by acting as a validator across numerous blockchain networks such as Klaytn, XPLA, ZETAchain, and INJECTIVE. Building upon this experience, Mblock Company operates its own node infrastructure, contributing to block generation, transaction validation, and network security and maintenance for the OneChain Mainnet 2.0.

A validator refers to the entity responsible for verifying whether transactions are executed properly within a blockchain network and participating in the creation of new blocks. The more validators that participate in the network, the lower the dependency on any single entity, which can be expected to enhance the overall stability of the network. The OneChain Mainnet 2.0 'Breakpoint' operates under a Proof of Staked Authority (PoSA) mechanism where validators are in charge of block generation.

Meanwhile, OneChain validators must meet a certain level of staking requirements, keep nodes running at all times, and maintain the stability and reliability of the network. Prior to welcoming Mblock Company, OneChain had already secured validators such as H-Lab, CertiK, and One Store. NEXUS Co., Ltd. plans to further elevate the stability of the OneChain network through the continuous participation of diverse operational entities.
