'Vampir' has kicked off the pre-season for its brand new content, the 'Arena'. It is a PvP battlefield where five randomly matched players form a team to clash with opponents, and the side that hits the target kill count first takes the crown. You can only drop in on Mondays and Thursdays from 19:00 to 19:50, and the pre-season runs for roughly three weeks from September 16 to October 5 at 19:50.

The Arena splits leagues into five tiers: 'Beast - Predator - Monarch - Immortal - Mythic', with promotions and demotions happening on a weekly basis. Keep in mind that the 'season' mentioned in the league guide refers to a one-week period that refreshes every Monday at 5:00 AM, rather than the entire pre-season duration. For initial placement, if there is no previous season participation record, the game places the character based on their combat power at the exact moment they first enter the Arena. New league ranks roll out in bulk every Monday at 5:00 AM alongside the final settlement results of the previous season.

As for the promotion and demotion rules, players reaching the top 20 in their league rank move up one tier for the next season, while the bottom 20 get demoted by one tier. Everyone else who misses these thresholds stays put in their current league. Season league rankings update in real-time, and rewards roll out based on the final ranking of the respective league when the season wraps up. The reward, 'Arena Coins', comes in handy for swapping items under the 'Shop - Exchange - Arena Coin' tab. Plus, the update introduces the Sephira Mythic tier, a synthesis point feature, and a friend system. Sephira can now hit the Mythic tier, which sits right above Legendary. If a synthesis attempt for a Legendary Sephira goes belly-up, the system racks up a certain amount of synthesis points. Once these points hit a specific threshold, players are guaranteed to bag a Mythic Sephira. The friend system is accessible via the 'Character Info - Friend' tab, letting players add others on the same server as buddies.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for the server transfer schedules landing on September 21 and September 23. This time around, all regions are in play, meaning players can hop freely between servers within each region. To make this happen, the Global 2 region lifted its 'access zone restriction' starting September 16, allowing players to pick whichever server they fancy. Characters at level 64 or above can initiate a server transfer.
