Neptune has announced a partnership with LINE GAME by LY Corporation to sequentially launch five of its H5 games on the LINE Mini App platform. This collaboration marks the first instance where LINE GAME is directly handling publishing based on the LINE Mini App. Through this, Neptune plans to officially kick off its entry into the Japanese market for its H5 game business.

The five H5 games slated for the LINE Mini App are 'Cat Office', 'Cat Snack Bar', 'Drill Drill Drill', 'Infinite Staircase', and 'The Mercenaries'. Among them, demo kiosks for three titles—'Cat Snack Bar', 'Drill Drill Drill', and 'Infinite Staircase'—will be set up at the LINE GAME booth at this year's Tokyo Game Show. Visitors to the Tokyo Game Show booth will be able to play the games instantly without going through a separate download process.

This partnership enables the introduction of In-App Purchases (IAP) and the utilization of the LINE login feature. LINE GAME is expected to effectively attract a suitable user base for the games by supporting direct marketing operations based on its understanding of local users. The primary target audience is LINE users within Japan. Through this collaboration, Neptune plans to expand the influx of new users in the Japanese market and accelerate the entry of its H5 game business into Japan.

Neptune has previously supplied H5 games to major domestic and international platforms such as Toss, KakaoPay Mini Games, KakaoTalk Game Ha-gi, and CrazyGames. Kwon Seung-hyun, head of Neptune's Game Business Division, stated, "Given that LINE boasts a massive user base, the synergy with Neptune's H5 games will be substantial," adding, "Mid- to long-term, we plan to review additional title entries and the expansion of cooperation within the Japanese market."

Meanwhile, Ahn Hyun-seok, director of Neptune's H5 Business Department, will participate as a speaker on H5 game technology at a conference hosted by LINE GAME during the Tokyo Game Show on September 17 and 18. The presentation will cover the topic of 'Know-how on porting native games to H5', discussing ways to maintain service stability and user experience while converting existing games into lightweight H5 games.
