Netmarble held a media showcase for the roguelite action RPG 'Solo Leveling: Karma' on the 17th at Tokyo Game Show 2026, held in Makuhari Messe, Japan.

Solo Leveling: Karma is a mobile roguelite action RPG based on Solo Leveling. It adapts for the first time in a game the 27-year Monarch War narrative of Sung Jinwoo, who travels back to the past using the Chalice of Reincarnation—a detail not extensively covered in the original work. You can directly experience a brand-new story of Sung Jinwoo unfolding within dimensional rifts.

At the production presentation, Netmarble Japan Business Division Head Yamashita Hirokazu and Netmarble Neo Development General Manager Jin Sunggun took the stage to introduce the game's main systems and content.

Netmarble Neo Development General Manager Jin Sunggun stated, "In this TGS 2026 build, you can experience about 200 diverse buffs and 8 playable characters." They added, "In particular, we have implemented the 'Shadow Army', a core element of the original work, not just as simple summons but as playable characters you can directly control, delivering a differentiated action experience."

Netmarble Japan Business Division Head Yamashita Hirokazu stated, "With this new title, we are aiming for the Japan Game Awards 2026 Future Division award." They continued, "Netmarble will hold various on-site events such as game demos and merchandise giveaways during TGS 2026, and actively communicate with users until the official launch to build up anticipation."

Japanese actor Hongo Kanata participated as a special guest. Hongo Kanata directly played the story mode and survival mode during the game demo session.

Details regarding the pre-registration for Solo Leveling: Karma were also revealed. Pre-registration has been underway since September 16 on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store in South Korea and Japan. Participants will receive a limited costume 'Sung Jinwoo Predator Outfit', a limited accessory 'Shadow Monarch's Halo Decoration', Monarch's Box and Hunter's Box containing useful items for gameplay, and a Secret Support Card.
