Nexon announced on the 17th that the Season 41 'Galaxy' update has rolled out for KartRider Rush+. Set against the edge of the galaxy, this update brings fresh karts, characters, pets, and tracks, alongside UI tweaks and content overhauls designed to make life easier for players.

First up, space has taken over with a batch of cosmic additions. Following the stars across the night sky, two new highlight karts styled after cosmic racers have arrived: Artemis Nova and Artemis Solar. Alongside them, players can get their hands on a new speed kart, Galaxy Marathon, plus three new item karts: Carbon Bit, Millstone, and Rocket-da (ロケットだ).

Six new characters join the roster: Lucas, Super-second Marid, Baby Tiger Uni, Starlight Fairy Naiad, Star Keeper Bazzi, and Mechanic Girl Tiara. Four new pets have also dropped, including Pilot Bazzi Flying Pet and Mini Jack-O Pet. A brand new speed track, 'Desert - Memory of Forgotten Sand', is now open for business, with another joint speed and item track, 'Ice - Frozen Break', scheduled to land on the 2nd.

Quality of life gets a nod too, with a redesigned main lobby UI. The developer has streamlined the path from the game start area so players can jump straight into 'Rush Farm' and 'Merge Town', while benefit tabs have been shifted to the right side of the screen to make claiming rewards a bit less fiddly.

On top of that, game modes and social tabs have been neatly grouped by function to keep things readable. To help returning racers get back into the groove, a 'Returnee Ranking Privilege' will be active for a limited time, granting extra points for up to four matches a day regardless of wins, losses, or whether the player actually crosses the finish line. Meanwhile, 'Merge Town', which proved popular during previous seasonal runs, is now a permanent fixture, letting players steadily farm goodies like batteries and Lucky Star Gems.

Naturally, Nexon is celebrating the seasonal update with a stack of events. Until November 11, logging in and completing challenges like ranking matches will net players items such as Season Coins, Black Hole Balloons, and permanent Meteor Skids. These coins can then be cashed in at the season exchange shop for rewards like the Drumming Monkey, Neon Cat costume set, and Xiao Qiao Moon Fairy.
