Look, let's be honest—Netmarble decided to make quite a splash at Tokyo Game Show 2026, held on September 17 at Makuhari Messe in Japan, by hosting a media showcase for its upcoming mobile subculture project, Pearl in Blue.

Pearl in Blue is a subculture collectible mobile RPG that combines the romantic escapades of becoming the protagonist in a romantic comedy anime with classic RPG mechanics. Netmarble chose TGS 2026 to unveil Pearl in Blue for the very first time, with plans to trickle out more details through the Japanese official X (formerly Twitter) account and YouTube channel.

The media presentation, hosted at the Netmarble booth during TGS 2026, featured key figures like Netmarble N2 development PD Jung Hyung-jun and Netmarble Japan business division head Yamashita Hirokazu stepping up to introduce the game's core features, development status, and lore. They were joined on stage by members of the main voice cast—including Japanese comedy duo NON STYLE member Inoue Yusuke, Housen Tae, and Kikuchi Yurina.

A concept promotional video (PV) crafted specially to commemorate TGS 2026 was also revealed. Starting from September 18, Netmarble is rolling out a series of events, including a talk show featuring the main voice cast of Pearl in Blue and a cosplay showcase starring Japanese cosplayers. To wrap things up on the final day, September 21, the developer is bringing a Dark Knight drawing stage featuring VTuber Inuyama Tamaki and other special guests.
