NC, in collaboration with the National Gugak Center's Traditional Korean Music Orchestra, has released the soundtrack album titled 'Jeong: Blooming Hearts', which reinterprets traditional Korean folk songs.

As part of the company's traditional culture contribution activities, NC has arranged public domain traditional folk songs to present to the general public. The tracks are released for free so that public institutions, including the National Gugak Center, and cultural events can utilize them freely.

The album features a total of 12 tracks: 6 modern arrangements of traditional folk songs such as Arirang, Doraji Taryeong, Noyeong Nayeong, Gunbam Taryeong, and Nilliriya, alongside instrumental versions for each track.

The title track, 'Arirang (Following the First Light)', depicts the moment of taking a first step with new light and hope. The harmony between the student choir from the School of Traditional Arts at the Korea National University of Arts and the traditional instrument performances by the National Gugak Center's Traditional Korean Music Orchestra creates a sound that bridges tradition and modernity.

The album was produced with NCSOUND at the center, alongside the National Gugak Center's Traditional Korean Music Orchestra and current students from the School of Traditional Arts at the Korea National University of Arts. NCSOUND handled the arrangements. The vocals featured Kim Hye-jin (Gyeonggi folk song), Maeng Hwi-seo (Jeongga), Lee Si-eun (Seodo folk song), Lee Yu-jeong (Gyeonggi folk song), and Jang Su-min (Gyeonggi folk song). The National Gugak Center's Traditional Korean Music Orchestra was responsible for the instrumental performances.

The featured tracks will also be utilized in Chuseok season events for NC's major games such as AION 2 and THRONE AND LIBERTY. Players can enjoy these reinterpreted traditional Korean musical pieces alongside gameplay.

The album can be streamed for free on domestic music streaming sites such as Melon, Genie, Bugs, FLO, and VIBE. It is also available for listening on international music platforms like Spotify and YouTube Music.
