The NC Cultural Foundation participated as a co-organizer in the 3rd Korea Social Value Festa, hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry at COEX in Seoul from September 21 to September 22.

At this event, the foundation showcased 'myAAC', a augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) application designed for individuals with communication difficulties. myAAC has been provided free of charge by the foundation since 2015.

Under the slogan 'It looks like we are connecting', the foundation designed its promotional booth using translucent square panels reminiscent of graphic symbol buttons. The interior of the booth was filled with content allowing visitors to experience the AI voice and over 2,000 graphic symbols featured in the myAAC app.

The foundation operated an interactive wall where answers are printed when AAC-related question cards are scanned on an NFC terminal, alongside an event to write letters using graphic symbols. An event allowing visitors to decorate keyboard keycaps by selecting graphic symbols was also held.

During the special program held on September 22, Roh Yu-ran, the leader of the Inclusive Technology Business Team at the foundation, shared the business journey and field cases of solving communication problems for individuals with disabilities using myAAC.

Park Myung-jin, the chairman of the foundation, stated, "Through the Social Value Festa, we were able to convey the necessity of augmentative and alternative communication and the positive impact of inclusive technology to more people," adding, "We will continue to strive to create a humane future where anyone can express their opinions without communication constraints and respect one another."
