For Chuseok, SOOP teamed up with streamers to share a bit of warmth by delivering hot meals and holiday gifts to local seniors. This volunteer event took place on the 22nd, with the streamers serving food they cooked themselves while chatting with the seniors.

On the 22nd, SOOP held a Chuseok special volunteer event at the Seongmin Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, joined by affiliated streamers including former Chinese cuisine chef streamer workingyonghyung, Yang Pang, and Eojujin. About 100 local seniors participated in this event, which ran for roughly two hours starting at 11 AM.

A food truck was set up at the venue to instantly cook up SOOP's proprietary menu item, 'Soop Bul Jjamppong'. workingyonghyung and the participating streamers prepared the food directly, served meals to the seniors, and shared conversations. SOOP also prepared separate Chuseok gift sets to hand out alongside the food.

Soop Bul Jjamppong is a menu item developed by SOOP in collaboration with the streamer workingyonghyung. It was born in the process of showcasing various cooking content based on workingyonghyung's cooking studio 'Yongsikdang'. By treating the seniors to Soop Bul Jjamppong, which was introduced through this content, SOOP turned the occasion into a meaningful moment of sharing content created together with a streamer back with the local community.

Participating in the volunteer work, workingyonghyung shared thoughts, saying, "I've usually made content communicating with people through cooking, but this time it felt even more meaningful to share the food I made with the seniors. I'd love to happily take part in good causes using my talents going forward."

SOOP has continuously carried out various social contribution activities with streamers, covering themes like coal briquette sharing, tree planting on Arbor Day, and environmental cleanup. The company plans to keep running diverse sharing activities that let streamers leverage their content and talents to connect with the local community.
