Look, let's be honest—welcome to the Arthdal New World Season 1 Magnifying Glass, where we break down the server ranking info for Arthdal Chronicles. Following today's update, the much-anticipated event item, the Job Change Ticket, has finally dropped. Just one day after its release, a bunch of players are already swapping their classes. So, what is the current state of the New World Season 1 job transition status? KookminTree has dug into the New World Season 1 data to find out.

A Slew of Rankers Jump Ship to Assassin

A solid number of top New World Season 1 rankers are ditching their old gigs for the Assassin class. Most notably, Eozer from the Leo server—who has been stubbornly clinging to the number one spot thanks to absolute, unrivaled combat power—has traded in the Priest robes they wore for so long to become an Assassin. We reckon this is probably because Priests are notoriously rubbish at grinding in the Dark Night Archipelago 5.

On top of that, Eozer bumped up their combat power by a staggering 8,755 over the past week, smashing through the 200,000 combat power milestone as a New World Season 1 server first. Armed with this absurd power, Eozer waded into the Dark Night Archipelago 5 grinding grounds, racking up a whopping 24,468,360,000 archipelago points last week. That score even sits at 24th globally, making it frankly hard to believe it belongs to a mere New World Season 1 ranker.

Plenty of other rankers made the leap to Assassin too. Notable mentions include Archer Pyeongtaekgimchanho from the Leo server, Priest Kyokain from the Orion server, Stormbringer Crocodile and Archer Chiwawa from the Vela server, and Archer Kraken from the Pavo server, showing that top players across various classes are getting in on the action.

Taking a closer look at the job distribution of the top 500 players in New World Season 1, the Assassin class grabbed a solid 1% point increase in share this week. Following closely, Priest rose by 0.8% points and Stormbringer by 0.4% points. Meanwhile, Archer, Warrior, and Dual Swordsman each dropped by 0.6% points, while Warrior and Priest each slipped by 0.2% points. The arrival of the Job Change Ticket looks set to completely shake up the meta share.

The Vela Server Chasing the Number Three Spot

Now, let us switch gears and look at the New World Season 1 server rankings. The Vela server, which snatched the number four spot from Pavo last month, is carrying some serious momentum. The average combat power of top rankers jumped by 4,196 compared to last week, and accumulated taxes hit 157,087, securing second place right behind Leo. Furthermore, Voni, a top representative ranker from the Itjiwaajideul alliance, rocketed their combat power by a massive 12,488 over the past week to overtake Sunwuappa from the Crabon server and claim second place. Voni is arguably the only ranker currently capable of giving Leo's Eozer a run for their money.

New World Season 1 Match of the Week: Pavo vs Orion

Pavo and Orion are locking horns in this Dark Night Archipelago matchup. Historically, Pavo always enjoyed a lopsided advantage thanks to vastly superior combat power, but things are a bit different this time. Orion's top rankers have recently banded together, steadily boosting their collective strength. As a result, the average combat power gap between the two servers has shrunk remarkably.

Let us compare the estimated combat strengths heading into this brawl. The average combat power of the top 20 rankers sits at 114,667 for Pavo and 112,085 for Orion. Pavo boasts a single player in the 140k combat power tier, while Orion holds two players in the 130k tier. Both servers are dead even when it comes to players with over 80k combat power, tying at 49 rankers each.

To complicate matters further, Pavo is currently embroiled in an internal server civil war between the Naeaimda alliance and the Dokkaebi alliance. If the Dokkaebi alliance decides to shake hands with the Orion server, the battle outcomes could shift dramatically. So, how will this war play out, and what will the final standings look like?
