In what the publisher calls a major content refresh, this patch introduces a slew of 'Midnight City'-themed goodies, including fresh season classes, weapon paint patterns, and zombie skins. Alongside these, a brand-new map dubbed 'Rose Hearts Street' joins the fray, while the Zombie Hero mode receives a massive overhaul with 18 new skills tailored for individual zombies.

Reaching tier 100 on the latest season pass unlocks the brand-new season class, 'Midnight Miho'. To spice up your arsenal, Nexon has added the 'Pink Rush' paint pattern compatible with various firearms like the 'Dual Beretta', 'AN94', and 'PKM'. You will also find other 'Midnight City'-themed cosmetic items such as the 'Midnight Ribbon Headband', 'Night Street Watcher' pet, and 'Fervent Fan Heavy Zombie' skin. Rounding out the update are season-exclusive sprays, medals, and damage fonts.

The fresh battleground 'Rose Hearts Street' drops right alongside the start of the season. Set against a backdrop draped in ribbons and hearts fitting the 'Midnight City' vibe, this map is playable across various modes including Original, Deathmatch, and Zombie Hero. Until November 12, players jumping into 'Rose Hearts Street' for a cumulative 15 or 30 minutes can pocket extra season badges through an ongoing event.

Zombie Hero mode gets a serious shake-up with a massive drop of unique skills for the undead. Nine different zombie types—Voodoo Zombie, Banshee, Stamper, Aksha, Rusty Wing, Venom Guard, Sting Finger, Ganymede, and Jiangshi—each receive two brand-new abilities, bringing the total to 18 fresh skills. For instance, the Voodoo Zombie can continuously restore an aimed ally's health using the 'Single Heal' skill, while the Banshee unleashes a flock of bats via 'Area Pulling' to drag humans in from a wide radius.

Quality-of-life features have also been ramped up. Zombie-exclusive supply crates now spawn in matches, instantly restoring both health and armor while resetting skill cooldowns. Furthermore, the evolution system has been reworked so that when the rage gauge fills completely, players can choose the exact moment to mutate into a 'Raged Powerful Host Zombie'. Until February 18 of next year, jumping into Zombie Hero mode hands out trial kits to test out various zombie skills, and completing set weekly rounds lets players pick and keep their desired zombie abilities.
