Riot Games has pulled back the curtain on the major changes and annual tournament locations for the 2027 VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT). Look, let's be honest, the first Masters event of 2027 is scheduled to take place in Seoul, running for roughly two weeks from February 20 to March 3.

The 2027 VCT is getting a massive structural overhaul to get closer to the fans, in what the publisher calls a fresh chapter. Throughout 2027, over 50 tournaments will be held across 15 cities worldwide. That is a massive jump compared to 2025 and 2026, when all events and roadshows combined spanned just 10 cities. The kickoff event that kicks off the VCT year remains, while the traditional Stage 1 and Stage 2 are set to be replaced by two regional 'Cups'. In addition, 'Open Qualifiers' will be established across 16 regions as a gateway for players aiming to break into the VCT stage.

Every single tournament in 2027 will be hosted in a different city, which is quite a logistical feat. The opening Kickoff events will kick off in Bangkok for the Pacific region, São Paulo for the Americas region, Berlin for the EMEA region, and Hangzhou for the CN region. The first Cups will then take place in Manila for the Pacific region, Mexico City for the Americas region, Warsaw for the EMEA region, and Wuhan for the CN region. Following that, the second Cups will head to Tokyo for the Pacific region, Rio de Janeiro for the Americas region, Istanbul for the EMEA region, and Shanghai for the CN region.

The host cities for the Masters and Champions, where the heavy hitters of each region clash, have also been revealed. As mentioned earlier, the very first Masters following the 2027 league restructuring will be hosted in Seoul. This marks roughly three years since an international VALORANT tournament was held in South Korea following the 2024 Champions, with further details to be unveiled later. Following the Seoul Masters, the second Masters is slated to take place in Valencia, Spain in June. The Champions, the most prestigious tournament wrapping up the VCT year, is planned from September 16 to October 10 in Austin, Texas, USA, where the Game Changers Championship will also be held side by side.
