Nexon announced on the 21st that, alongside the K League, it is hosting the EA Sports FC Mobile family tournament, the '2026 eK리그 FC 모바일 패밀리 컵'. This competition features teams of two consisting of a parent and a child, determining the ultimate winning family through preliminary rounds representing 12 K League clubs.

The club representative qualifiers kick off sequentially starting with Ulsan and Gimcheon on the 24th. This event allows walk-up registrations on-site without prior application, and the qualifier format has the parent and child play 'Attack Mode' on their respective accounts, combining both scores to rank the teams. In case of a tie, the team with the higher score from the child takes precedence, followed by the team with the younger child.

The main tournament is scheduled to take place at the AfreecaTV FreecUp Studio starting at 4 PM on December 6th, featuring families representing 12 clubs battling through a four-team tournament to crown the ultimate champion. The final matches will be broadcast live via the EA Sports FC Mobile SOOP and Chzzk channels, as well as the official K League YouTube channel.

Families selected as club representatives receive a variety of perks. All 12 representative families will be invited to the 'K League Awards' scheduled for December 7th, and a one-night stay at Walkerhill is provided on the day of the finals. Furthermore, a new Family Cup award category has been established at the 'K League Awards' to honor the winning family, and state-of-the-art smartphones will be awarded to the winning and runner-up families.
