Scopely Explore announced on the 22nd that Monster Hunter Now will host the 'Monster Hunter Now Halloween 2026' event. Running from October 26 to November 8, this event brings a variety of content including the return of limited Halloween gear, skill reworks, limited weapon style enhancements, and new layered armor.

First off, the event brings back the limited armor pieces 'Pumpkin Head' and 'Ghost Balloon'. Equipping the 'Pumpkin Head' as actual armor triggers the new skill 'Destroyer [Halloween]'. During the event, this skill's effect is multiplied tenfold, increasing cumulative damage to breakable parts by 50% and doubling the number of monster part break rewards, giving players plenty of extra chances to hoard materials.

Alongside these, limited weapons 'Skull Whistle' and 'Ma-Kyeom Barnaroth' are making a comeback, and style enhancements are now unlocked. Material requirements for upgrading limited gear are relaxed until November 15, meaning gear can be upgraded up to a certain grade using exclusively dedicated upgrade tickets. Plus, a new layered armor piece, the '[Harvest Cloak] Costume', arrives in the event exchange shop, obtainable using event exchange tokens gathered by hunting large monsters and breaking their parts.

Starting from November 2, the latter half of the event introduces a Kulu-Ya-Ku lugging around a pumpkin rock, accompanied by an EX exchange shop utilizing dedicated tokens. EX tokens secured by taking down and breaking parts of the pumpkin-rock-wielding Kulu-Ya-Ku can be traded for items such as 'Mutated Black Diablos Carapace', 'Barioth Primefin', and limited-time Hunt-a-Thon tickets.

Purchasing and clearing the event-exclusive premium quest also rewards players with a production ticket for the new leg armor 'Scarecrow Leg' featuring 'Frenzied Vitality' Lv2, along with 10 Friend Link Tokens and 10 Tracker Scopes. Throughout the event, group hunt rewards receive a boost, the interaction range expands by 1.5 times, and material yields from small monsters and gathering points double.
