RODRIK LTD is set to launch the city builder game Holdopolis in Early Access on Steam this November.

Holdopolis leans into a rather cheeky management premise, tasking the player with raking in cash by running the city's one and only paid public restroom. When citizens attempt to relieve themselves in the bushes, they face the wrath of the police, with the crackdown figures splashed across the following day's newspaper—a decidedly satirical touch.

The toilet facilities can be upgraded from a humble wooden shack all the way to the Golden Monument of Unity. As progress continues, hiking up the fees can straighten out the financial ledger, though players will inevitably face strikes and sudden outbreaks of disease. Bloggers might even show up to film the queues outside, leaving the decision to either chase them off or exploit them for publicity entirely up to the player.

Holdopolis will support Korean and will launch via Steam alongside the VK Play Russian store. AI was utilized during the development process, a detail clearly stated on the official Steam page.
