Kakao Games is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its mobile puzzle game Friends Popcorn with a series of in-game and prize events.

Running until October 30, the 10th Anniversary Prize Roulette Event allows players to use roulette tickets earned by clearing specific stages to enter a prize draw. Lucky winners can walk away with designer wallets, scarves, coffee machines, family restaurant vouchers, and in-game items.

From November 1 to 13, the publisher is rolling out a special 10th anniversary Popcorn Pass. Players who complete step-by-step pass missions to reach tier 20 will unlock a 10th anniversary limited edition frame and automatically enter the prize draw, where one grand prize winner will score a luxury handbag.

On top of that, a 10-day daily login event will run until November 3, handing out handy in-game goodies, while limited edition Friends characters will debut from November 7 to 13 to mark the milestone.

In what Kakao Games head of business division Seong Yeong-hwan calls a gesture of gratitude, the business division head stated, "We prepared these 10th anniversary events to thank the users who have been with Friends Popcorn over the past decade," adding that "we will continue providing stable services so that players can enjoy the game casually in their daily lives and feel a pleasant sense of achievement."

Friends Popcorn is a puzzle game where players solve various puzzle missions and tackle higher-tier stages. Since its launch in October 2016, the title has racked up over 10 million cumulative downloads and an impressive 13.5 billion cumulative plays.
