Pokémon UNITE will end its service at the end of March next year.

The Pokémon Company announced the termination of Pokémon UNITE services on the 27th. Pokémon UNITE is a Pokémon-based AOS that first opened its doors on July 21, 2021. The management team plans to finish on a high note by holding events and official tournaments as scheduled until the termination date.

Pokémon UNITE will terminate its service at 9:00 AM on March 23, 2027, after which game access and matchmaking will be completely blocked. In addition, guidelines regarding videos and screenshots, as well as usage rights based on them, will also lose validity upon the closure of operations.

Following this service termination, the sale of paid items was immediately suspended as of 2:00 PM on the 27th. The purchase of Aeos Gems, the in-game currency, has been blocked, but previously purchased currency can be used normally until the service ends. New subscriptions and automatic renewal payments for the monthly subscription product, UNITE Membership, have also been halted, and existing subscribers can continue to enjoy benefits for the remainder of their valid period.

The Pokémon Company will introduce updates and events to reward the support of users for the remaining period. First, on November 12, an event will be held where players can acquire various items such as Unite Licenses and Holoware that have been released so far. The previously announced tournament 'Pokémon UNITE Aeos Crown 2027 Tokyo' will also proceed normally, with preliminary matches starting sequentially on December 5, 2026.

In addition, after the update on November 12, a 'Library' will be introduced that allows players to view their records even after the service ends. By utilizing this, players can continue to review past match records, collected licenses, Holoware, and some internal contents even after operations have completely concluded. However, to use this viewing function, necessary data must be downloaded to the device in advance before the service termination point.

Meanwhile, Pokémon UNITE has received high attention, being selected for the esports category of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
