NC has announced that Lineage 2 rolled out a massive 'BASIC' update on 28. The update introduces three brand new servers alongside a fresh character class.

The new servers, named 'Gludin', 'Gludio', and 'Giran', opened simultaneously at 8 PM on 28. Aiming for 'Standard', 'Simple', and 'Slow' progression, these servers start players off with a basic 'Falchion' weapon, letting everyone experience the authentic growth journey of Lineage 2.

Alongside the servers comes the new class, 'Overlord: Bartz'. Wielding daggers as primary weapons, this melee combat class is built entirely around lightning-fast action.

To celebrate the 23rd anniversary of Lineage 2, NC has prepared various gifts and events tailored for players on the main and Eva servers. Through attendance rewards and missions, players can secure four types of 'Black Coupons' to restore destroyed items, a '23rd Anniversary Cube' granting daily consumables for 28 days, a 23rd anniversary special equipment selector, and a 23rd anniversary hair accessory.

Furthermore, the 23rd anniversary celebrations run until November 25. In the party dungeon 'Nest of Erosion', players can wipe out monsters across four regions alongside bonus monsters appearing at set intervals to rake in massive amounts of experience points. Additionally, the 'Pastry Chef's Invitation' event invites players twice a day to defend the 23rd anniversary celebration cake from bandits in exchange for rewards. Check out the official Lineage 2 website for full details regarding the update.
