CCR Contents Tree announced on the 30th that it has rolled out a major update for its mobile action shooting game 'Fortress M', introducing 6-star tier expansion for Hero-grade characters, character rebalancing, and six brand-new exclusive items.

The maximum promotion tier for four Hero-grade characters—'Minelander', 'Windblow', 'Power Cannon', and 'Kiki'—has now been pushed to 6 stars. Each character receives bespoke new effects tailored to their unique traits, making them significantly more viable in combat as they grow. Minelander gains a 20% boost to maximum HP alongside a stun effect on mine attacks, vastly improving survivability and crowd-control capabilities. Windblow picks up an attack power boost and can now leverage tornado penetration and enemy-pulling mechanics to dictate the flow of battle.

Power Cannon gains the ability to deal bonus damage to targets sitting at 50% or lower max HP, while enemies hit by bounce shells take amplified damage from follow-up attacks. Kiki enjoys improved battle sustain thanks to max HP boosts and incoming damage reductions. A general rebalancing pass also hits the roster, slightly bumping up the HP of 6-star Rare-grade characters. Dark Knight's vertical firing angles have been tweaked for much more flexible offense, and dashing through enemy projectiles using skills now allows the character to pierce terrain, greatly expanding tactical options.

New passive skills have also dropped for 'Dragon Tank' and 'Golden Super Tank'. Dragon Tank now recovers HP every time an enemy bites the dust, alongside buffed attack power and wider terrain destruction ranges on select offensive skills. Golden Super Tank receives a 20% max HP increase, coupled with beefed-up attack power and improved homing features to sharpen its offensive edge. These tweaks breathe new life into older favorites and widen the tactical sandbox depending on the heat of battle.

Alongside all this, six new exclusive items have landed for 'Dark Punch', 'Bear & Rabbit', 'Fire Cannon', 'Power Cannon', 'Rainbow Shell', and 'Dark Draco'. The exclusive gear for 'Bear & Rabbit' and 'Dark Draco' dishes out incoming damage reductions and periodic HP regeneration, with max HP bonuses unlocking as the items are leveled up. 'Dark Punch's exclusive gear focuses heavily on padding out survivability through max HP boosts and healing, picking up damage reduction perks further down the growth path.

Offensive exclusive items make their debut as well. Gear for 'Fire Cannon', 'Power Cannon', and 'Rainbow Shell' amps up the power and blast radius of subsequent projectiles. Upgrading these exclusive items to 4 stars or higher adds extra utility: Fire Cannon gains movement restriction debuffs, Power Cannon inflicts blinding effects to choke enemy vision, and Rainbow Shell layers on extra attack power. With these new toys, players can mix and match to boost offense, double down on survival, or lock down enemy movement.
