DOOM: The Dark Ages - Launching Thursday, 5/15

Doom Guy—or the Doom Slayer, as we must call him now—is the man who turned chainsaws and shotguns into the definitive demon-slaying kit. Since the first reboot on May 13, 2016, he has been cementing the very definition of dopamine and catharsis in the minds of gamers. He showed us just how magnificent raw, unadulterated violence can be. Power creates light! And frankly, I feel quite powerful myself.

The Slayer is shifting from futuristic battlefields to the medieval past. Naturally, his loadout has changed; he’s now armed with a chainsaw shield and a flail. These 'excellent tools for diplomacy' allow you to parry enemy attacks and initiate new charging maneuvers. Apparently, this means the dodge button is gone, so if you're a veteran jumping in from the previous games, make sure you take note. Also, if you’ve pre-purchased the Premium Edition, you can start playing from May 13. If you’re desperate to get a head start, keep that in mind.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 - Launching Thursday, 5/16

Street Fighter, Capcom vs. SNK, Rival Schools—if you’re a gamer, you’ve definitely heard these names. They are the titans of Capcom’s fighting library. While the latest entry, Street Fighter 6, is currently enjoying a successful run, the others have aged a bit, remembered mostly by old-school fans or retro enthusiasts.

Now, you can get these classics on Steam in one package: 'Capcom Fighting Collection 2'. It includes eight titles, such as Capcom vs. SNK, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Power Stone, and Rival Schools.
