The life-sized Gardevoir plushie, which previously caused a stir in Japan, is finally making its way to local shores.

Pokemon Korea announced on the 2nd via their official social media and the Pokemon Store Online that they will be retailing this life-sized Gardevoir plush. Sales kick off on July 9 at 12:00 PM, with a price tag of 590,000 won. While this might seem a bit steep when compared to the 49,500 yen price point in Japan, it seems fair enough when you account for regional pricing differences and the historical cost of previous life-sized collectibles.

True to the Pokedex entry, the Gardevoir plush stands at a towering 160cm. Naturally, the manufacturer couldn't quite replicate the original weight of nearly 50kg, but they have settled on a much more manageable 5kg. After its successful launch in Japan earlier this year, the demand from local fans has been relentless.

The Pokemon Company has been busy, consistently rolling out life-sized plushies of Psyduck, Eevee and its various evolutions, and Slowpoke.
