Joycity announced on the 4th that it is developing a mobile strategy game titled 'Resident Evil: Survival Unit'.

'Resident Evil: Survival Unit' is a mobile strategy game utilizing Capcom’s 'Resident Evil' IP, and is being co-developed by Aniplex and Joycity in collaboration with Capcom. The developers highlight that the game offers a fresh perspective on the original world, distinct from the existing series.

'Resident Evil' is Capcom’s flagship game series, which has maintained its legacy since its debut in 1996. Bolstered by the success of the film series of the same name, it has established itself as a globally recognized IP.

Resident Evil: Survival Unit was first unveiled at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, and the developers plan to reveal further content and detailed information during a presentation on July 11th.
