RedLab Games hosted the inaugural 'AMA (Ask Me Anything)' session on the 3rd for ROM: Golden Age, the studio’s latest title onboarded to WEMIX PLAY.

The broadcast featured RedLab Games CEO Shin Hyun-keun, WEMIX PLAY Center Head Seo Won-il, and Tasha from the cosplay team 'Spiral Cats'.

The panel discussed key features of ROM: Golden Age and the inner workings of 'RPG Tokenomics 3.0', followed by a real-time Q&A with global players. A giveaway event was also held, distributing 'PLAY tokens' usable on WEMIX PLAY and in-game 'CROM tokens'.

ROM: Golden Age integrates blockchain technology into RedLab Games' flagship title, ROM: Remember of Majesty. It introduces 'RPG Tokenomics 3.0', which promises unrestricted minting, value protection, and a streamlined, fast-paced P2E structure.

The RPG Tokenomics 3.0 model relies on a dual-token system consisting of CROM and CRYSTAL. CROM can be swapped for the USD stablecoin USDC.e. To keep value stable, the team plans to regularly buy back and burn tokens, while limiting minting quantities based on character level and combat power to prevent reckless inflation.

ROM: Golden Age is slated for a global release in early August across 170 countries (excluding regions including South Korea). Global pre-registration is currently live on the official website and WEMIX PLAY, having already surpassed 300,000 participants within just one week.

RedLab Games intends to maintain this dialogue with the global community by hosting three AMA sessions throughout the pre-registration period.
