The way you manage dungeon entry time in Raven 2 has shifted, and so has the standard routine. These days, the meta is simple: knock out your quests and boss encounters during the day, then toggle the dungeon offline mode before hitting the sack. Today, we’re diving into the essential chores—namely, the Special Task Force missions and field boss raids—with a fresh look at the latest crafting items and farming tips to keep your progress on track.

Special Task Force missions: Your ticket to rare crafting blueprints + a little bit of monitoring.

Right now, the Special Task Force missions are the bread and butter of your Raven 2 grind. You can grab up to eight per day, and they’re the most reliable way to farm character and Task Force EXP outside of the main story. If you’re skipping these, you’re only hurting your own progression.

When selecting your missions, aim for high-tier quests with the best EXP payouts. It’s all about efficiency, as most content in Raven 2 is gated by your level. For the mission stages, aim for level 2, but level 3 is the gold standard. A successful level 3 run nets you upgrade stones for weapons, armor, and accessories, along with Imprint Essence and rare crafting blueprints. You can never have enough upgrade stones for your collections.

While rare crafting blueprints are the ideal drop, their utility has evolved. Sure, they can replace any rare blueprint for crafting gear, but drop rates are—let’s be honest—a bit stingy. These days, it’s wiser to pool your rare weapon, armor, and accessory blueprints to craft Heroic blueprint fragments every month. If you aren't exactly swimming in rare blueprints, treat them as a secondary way to gear up while you stack those upgrade stones.

You might think rare gear is obsolete once you’ve secured high-tier rare or Heroic equipment, but don’t be so quick to dismiss them. They’re still perfect for padding your item collection, or you can dismantle them to help craft elite Task Force gear. Keeping your options open is never a bad play.

Once you accept a mission, clicking it will trigger the auto-pilot. However, if the game forces you to hoof it to another region, you’re wasting precious time. Pro tip: pick quests in nearby hunting grounds or ones that share the same target monsters to keep your momentum high.

Also, do yourself a favour and keep an eye on the screen. The auto-pathing logic sometimes takes the scenic route or, worse, sets up camp in a barren spot with no mobs, tanking your efficiency. If you catch the character idling in a dead zone, a quick nudge will usually snap the AI back into action.

Even a 1-star boss is worth the effort—stay consistent.

Rift bosses and field bosses are where the daily grind meets the real action. Rift bosses spawn on a strict schedule twice a day, and since the rewards were buffed in the first week of July, they are well worth your time. If you can hit a contribution tier of 35-75%, you’re looking at some decent loot. For Velusia, camp the spawn point early; for Deron and Romern, use teleportation to hit the spawn spots for the Blade Weevil or the Pursuit Elite Knight respectively to save time.

Since you’ve saved time thanks to the new dungeon systems, pour that extra energy into field bosses. You’re hunting for the 'Subjugation Certificate,' a key crafting material found under the 'Event - Subjugation Certificate' tab.

Once you’ve hoarded enough Subjugation Certificates, prioritise the 'Rare Gear Material Box' and the 'Rare Gear Blueprint Fragment Box.' The former is a daily craft that yields rare materials—you’ll need the Purifying Essence dropped in normal dungeons to craft the high-end Heroic materials. Raven 2 seems generous with Heroic crafting opportunities this year, so stack those materials while you can.

As for the blueprint fragment box, feed it into your monthly Heroic blueprint fragment crafting. You can also craft a 'Supreme 11-pull Selection Box' for 300 certificates every week. Check the in-game boss schedule religiously—even if you can't hit every single spawn, focus on the 1-star and 2-star bosses with shorter respawn windows to maximise your participation.

Need to reach field bosses faster?

Field boss raids are crowded affairs, and showing up late means walking away empty-handed. To cut down on travel time, you’ll want 'Blessed Teleport Scrolls.' They’re sold for crystals in the shop, but if you’re trying to save, build up your affinity with the local General Goods Merchant. Once you reach 'Friendly' status, the merchant will stock these scrolls, letting you warp straight to the action.

Don't forget the map's location-saving feature. Head to the boss spawn point, open your map, and hit 'Save Location' at the bottom left. You can then label these points, making it a breeze to warp directly to a boss the moment an alert pops up.

Once saved, you can jump straight to the action from your list. As a final tip, use the second button next to your saved coordinates to rename them after the specific boss. When the warning notification hits, just click the name on your list and you’re there. Best of luck out there.
