Krafton creative studio Unknown Worlds has officially launched the mobile version of 'Subnautica' on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Subnautica is an open-world survival exploration game set on a mysterious alien ocean planet. As a survivor who crash-landed on this planet, you must explore the deep sea, discover coral reefs, volcanoes, and cave systems, craft various gear, and pilot submersibles to overcome deep-sea threats and survive.

This mobile version supports multiple game modes. In the core 'Survival' mode, you must manage hydration, nutrition, and oxygen levels while exploring. Alternatively, you can select 'Freedom' or 'Creative' modes to explore the underwater world without the burden of resource management.

Steve Papoutsis, the head of Unknown Worlds, stated, "It is an honour to join Unknown Worlds on this journey to bring Subnautica to the mobile platform for the first time." He added, "I am delighted to work with a team that possesses such passion and talent, and we are committed to delivering a mobile experience that fully captures the expectations and affection of our fans."

Meanwhile, Unknown Worlds is collaborating with the French publisher Playdigious for the development and publishing of the Subnautica mobile version.
