Nexon rolled out the Hero Universe update for Counter-Strike Online (CSO) on the 10th, and with it comes a new Epic-grade weapon, 'Lycaon'.

Lycaon is a new Epic-grade weapon. It is a throwing weapon designed to handle various combat scenarios with active and efficient attacks. The Vanguard and Sentinel modes allow you to use other weapons simultaneously; the wolf spirit either follows you to attack nearby enemies or is anchored to a specific location. When you trigger Phantom Rush, a pack of spectral wolves charges at up to two enemies, dealing area-of-effect damage.

Alongside this, the update introduces the new Epic Edition weapon, USAS12 Thunderfall. It is a shotgun that harnesses the power of thunder and lightning, marking the first time an Epic Edition weapon has been released in the Legend grade. Until September 4th, completing in-game missions and using Epic Decoders will earn you 'Sorang’s Trace' boxes, which can be used in an event shop to acquire various items, including the two new weapons.

Furthermore, the 'Hero’s Path' attendance event runs until August 21st, allowing players to earn various items through gameplay. Logging in grants daily trial weapons like Pale Note, Windwalker, and the Scarlet Rose spear; reaching three cumulative days of attendance grants them as 15-day limited-time gear. Additionally, completing the 'Hunting Instinct' daily mission seven times rewards players with a daily trial version of Lycaon, a Finale Medal (permanent), 10 Transcendence Decoders, and 10 Class Decoders.

In addition, by accumulating the maximum daily supply points in the Hero Special Missions until August 20th, players can obtain [ZHC] Advanced Decoders and Hero Supply Boxes, with bonus rewards provided upon reaching specific cumulative point milestones. These points can also be used to enter raffles in the Hero Entry Shop for in-game items, Nexon Cash, and various gaming gear.
