Sixtar Gate: Stargazer is a spin-off of the space-faring rhythm game Sixtar Gate: Startrail. The developers intend to broaden the established universe, offering a more immersive narrative alongside a fresh gameplay loop. Players can now journey through the game alongside a new operator, 'Dorimi', and dive into the story via the Adventure Mode.

The game’s mechanics have also been revamped. Moving away from the classic six-lane setup of its predecessor, this iteration opts for a four-lane configuration utilizing arrow keys. Furthermore, the introduction of 'Voltage Overdrive'—designed to push combo scores to the limit—promises a more strategic and intense experience. Two additional track DLCs are available at launch, with plans to introduce more content and musical styles in the future.

To mark the release of Sixtar Gate: Stargazer, the original 'Sixtar Gate: Startrail' is also making its debut on Stove. Smilegate is actively working on expanding the franchise's footprint, with plans to bring the title to the Nintendo Switch and other global platforms following this PC release.
