CD Projekt Red has released details for the free 2.3 update to Cyberpunk 2077 on the 16th. It includes features such as autodrive, a Delamain taxi service, new quests, fresh vehicles, and an expanded photo mode. The update rolls out on the 17th, coinciding with the launch of the Mac version of the Ultimate Edition.

The standout feature is 'autodrive,' which allows players to take their hands off the wheel and relax. By setting a map marker and toggling the feature, the car will navigate to the destination without player input. An unmanned taxi service is also available in Night City; players can hail a Delamain cab, select a destination, and pay the Eurodollar fare. While using these transport methods, players can enjoy various cinematic camera angles to view Night City from a fresh perspective.

For those who prefer driving themselves, one new motorcycle and three cars have been added. This includes the Yaiba Semimaru, which debuted in the Cyberpunk 2077: Kickdown comic, as well as the Rayfield Caliburn 'Mordred,' Yaiba Muramasa, and Chevillon Legatus. These vehicles can be unlocked by completing related quests.

Photo mode has received numerous new settings and customization options. Players can now adjust the weather and time of day before taking a shot, and choose from a wider selection of NPCs, outfits, and poses. New stickers and frames have been added, and players can adjust how NPCs look at the camera. Poses can be further refined by adjusting the head, eyes, and shoulders for more detailed photography.

Additionally, new technical support has been included, such as VRR support for consoles, AMD FSR4 support, AMD FSR 3.1 frame generation, Intel XeSS 2.0, and improved HDR settings.

The 2.3 update is available for Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Apple Silicon Macs with 16GB+ RAM. It is scheduled to be released for the Nintendo Switch 2 at a later date.
