Moonton kicked off its summer season update, 'Summertime Ensemble', for the mobile vampire RPG 'Silver and Blood' on the 17th.

The season is split into two narrative arcs: 'Saphirus' Last Summer' and 'Saphirus' First Summer', packed with fresh event stages and a generous helping of rewards.

Throughout the 'Summertime Ensemble' event, players can gather 'Coastal Coins' by clearing stages, exploring maps, and finishing limited-time missions. These coins can then be traded for various goodies at the 'Saphirus Auction House'. Entry to stages requires 'Sunscreen' items, which replenish automatically up to five times a day.

Notably, this season introduces 'Off to Saphirus' and the two-part 'Crisis at 12:00', where the individual stories of the thralls and combat bonuses come into play. Some stages feature a sweep function, and the high-difficulty Nightmare mode will be unlocked starting July 31st.

Beyond that, the update is stuffed with content: the mini-game 'A Shot at the Kraken!', the challenge mode 'Disaster Singularity', the login event 'Serina's Part-time Job Calendar', new chapters 16 and 17, Clan Hunts, the Spirit's Secret Vault, personal content 'Bella No. 13', a new Spirit Sword Tomb boss 'Child of War', and an expansion of the Infinite Abyss to floor 100.

The limited-time blooding events for SSR thralls 'Lorelei' and 'Bella of Yesteryear' open sequentially on the 17th and 24th respectively, while SR thralls 'Debt-ridden Serina' and 'Sigrun' can be nabbed by participating in the events.

A new 'Collection' system and limited-time costume items have also arrived. Players can use 'Select Collection' to customise the look of their thralls. Furthermore, simply by logging in and completing missions, players can earn the SR thrall 'Fan-bearer Serina' along with exclusive costume rewards.
