Between July 16 and 4:59 AM on July 23, Raven 2 hosted a class change event. The real kicker here was the cost: both the class change ticket and the change tokens were sold for gold. Naturally, with the financial barrier significantly lowered, many players decided it was time for a career change. This has sent ripples through the recent Tower of Chaos rankings, and the Meca Ranking has certainly felt the shockwaves, with overall class distribution and rankings shifting accordingly.

Deathbringer and Destroyer have been flexing their muscles in the server-specific popularity charts. Last week, these two classes managed to break into the Top 3 on two and five servers, respectively. This week, that number climbed to four and six servers. Deathbringer rankers, in particular, seem to have found a home in the Mare world; they secured the third spot with 12% in Honor and 10% in Metus. Mare is currently the only world where a class has hit the top tier on two different servers. While the class didn't quite generate the same buzz as the Assassin upon release, it’s clearly settling into the meta just fine.

Divine Caster is also making moves that deserve a closer look. In the past, the status quo for Raven 2 was simple: Night Ranger at number one, with Divine Caster trailing in a comfortable second. However, we are increasingly seeing Divine Caster snatching the top spot in the server-specific Top 3, sometimes extending the gap over Night Ranger by more than 10 percentage points or simply refusing to budge from the throne.

Of course, it isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Since the total pool is fixed, Divine Caster’s gains are inevitably someone else’s losses. Take the Lux-Honor server, for example: the Top 3 is currently 'Night Ranger (42%) - Vanguard (12%) - Divine Caster (12%)'. Divine Caster’s share dipped by 4 percentage points, landing it in a tie for second place with Vanguard. Looking back at the history of the Meca Ranking, the landscape has truly shifted.

Overall Class Analysis

Deathbringer has also climbed the ranks in the overall class share for the Korean region. To be fair, its actual share didn't change, but it benefited from the spillover caused by Vanguard’s dip—essentially getting a free pass to the top.

Vanguard’s share dropped by 1.5 percentage points. While that is a significant hit, the pain is exacerbated by the fact that almost every other class managed to gain some ground. The biggest slice of that pie went to Divine Caster, which jumped by a whopping 1 percentage point, explaining its strong performance in the server-specific charts. Berserker took the next largest bite, closing the gap with Vanguard to within 1 percentage point. One has to wonder if Berserker will manage to overtake Vanguard in the rankings once again.

Furthermore, the three-way tie for sixth place between 'Berserker - Destroyer - Elementalist' has been broken, as Elementalist saw a 0.8 percentage point decline. As a result, the gap between it and Destroyer has widened significantly. If this trend holds, we might be looking at a 'Vanguard - Berserker - Destroyer' mid-to-lower tier. It really goes to show how much of an impact that last class change ticket had on the environment.

Global Class Analysis

In the global region of Raven 2, the mid-tier classes are running out of steam. Assassin, Deathbringer, and Berserker have all seen their shares shrink. Deathbringer took the hardest hit, with its share flowing away from the top and into the lower ranks. Elementalist, in particular, has seen a decent gain, bringing its share to 5.6%—just 0.2 percentage points behind Berserker. It will be interesting to see how this rivalry unfolds.

PVP Ranking Status

The second quarter of 2025 was a bit of a slump for the PVP rankings, with lower KDA scores and kill peaks across the board. Thankfully, we can put those gloomy days behind us; July has brought a fresh wave of energy to the PVP scene. We saw 100-kill rankers emerging early in the month, and now, this week, we’ve finally smashed through the 1,000-kill ceiling.

The hero behind the 1,000-kill milestone is Nabul-i from Mare-Honor. With a stat line of 1,087 kills, 1 assist, and 0 deaths, the incredibly low death count has pushed the KDA score to stellar heights—a record that stands out even in the Raven 2 Meca Ranking. The runners-up in spots 2 through 4 are no slouches either, logging 238, 185, and 101 kills respectively. MZ-ga-doego-sip-eun-hal-abeoji-1 missed the 100-kill club by a hair at 99 kills; we’re rooting for them to break into the Top 3 next week.

Raven 2 Meca Ranking User Poll

Finally, let’s look at the results of the Raven 2 Meca Ranking poll. Last week’s update kicked off Season 6 of the Tower of Chaos, so we asked how far everyone expects to climb. The most popular answer was the summit—the 40th floor. Best of luck reaching your goal. Climbing to the 20th floor came in second, while 'playing at my own pace' took third place.

The fifth-place write-in responses were also quite telling, featuring pleas to restore the daily challenge limit to 5 and complaints about not getting the right buffs. These two issues are actually linked, as you have to clear the floor again to reroll the buffs. I’m currently stuck trying to roll a 'boss monster damage' option myself, so I truly empathize with the frustration.
