The initial post-launch chaos has finally settled. Rin sits at 4th with a 45.5% pick rate, while Karma holds 6th at 39.5%. Interestingly, it is Rin who has seen the sharper rise, climbing 11 percentage points and cementing the dominance of magical damage compositions.

At the heart of this surge is Melcure, our top-ranked pick this week. Melcure is the essential choice for shattering defensive lines, requiring a mandatory trio of Magic-type heroes to trigger the 'Mana Backflow' debuff. The meta has effectively locked into a 'Melcure, Yeonhee, Rin' core. All three saw their pick rates jump by over 5 percentage points, dominating the top four spots.

The counter-play comes from the Universal-type defensive squads. These teams rely on Jave as the primary damage dealer, supported by Rudy, Loji, and a healer to outlast the opponent. Teo has slipped to 11th, though some top-tier players still deploy the hero as a main damage dealer in niche defensive setups. Regardless of the specific build, Loji is an omnipresent fixture; once players acquire the hero, it becomes a staple in their roster.

The 'Balance Formation & Spike' Meta

The meta has ossified into a 6:4 split between the Balance and Protection formations. With only marginal 0.5% shifts, these are the only viable options for competitive players. The pet meta mirrors this stability, focusing heavily on negating status effects. Spike remains the top choice for this purpose, while Yeonhee holds 2nd place to bolster magical damage output.

Below the top two, the competition for 3rd place remains fierce between Lu, Irin, and Kri. Despite a 1.5% drop, Lu successfully defended the 3rd spot, proving indispensable as the primary pet for defensive squads.

Karma: Adding Stability to Defensive Compositions

Our Best Pick this week is the Karma-enhanced defensive squad. While slightly trailing in raw pick rates compared to magical teams, this composition becomes increasingly popular as the Arena season nears its conclusion. Top-tier players are leaning into these long-haul defensive battles to protect their rankings. The inclusion of Karma has made these squads significantly more robust, effectively swapping out Rook from the classic 'Rudy, Rook, Jave' core.

The addition of this new Universal hero creates excellent synergy with Loji. Karma’s passive, which increases the success rate of hero effects by 20% for Defense and Universal types, applies to Rudy and Jave as well. For opponents, Karma represents an additional, formidable variable to account for.

Total War Pick of the Week

3rd Place in Total War: 'Tosiltosil'

Our spotlight this week goes to 'Tosiltosil', who secured 3rd place in this season's Total War. The final 20 rounds were a nail-biting affair, but Tosiltosil managed to lock in exactly 15,000 points.

By substituting high-rarity units with efficient rare heroes in defensive slots, Tosiltosil was able to concentrate damage where it mattered most.

Seven Knights Re:Verse User Poll

Our previous poll asked which gear set players coveted most from the popular 'Steel Predator' raid. The 'Avenger' set, which boosts damage dealt, took 1st place with a commanding 64.8% of the vote, making it a clear favorite for main damage dealers.
