The Com2uS Group has teamed up with the Geumcheon-gu Welfare Center for the Disabled to bolster its local community outreach initiatives.

On the 24th, the Com2uS Group announced that it conducted a volunteering event to establish 'Com2uS Kitchen,' aimed at improving the educational environment for children with developmental disabilities. The event, held at the Geumcheon-gu Welfare Center for the Disabled, saw participation from the 'Com2gether' volunteer group—composed of employees and their families from Com2uS, Com2uS Holdings, and Com2uS Platform—alongside the NGO 'Good Change.'

The Geumcheon-gu Welfare Center for the Disabled serves as a comprehensive facility for local children, teenagers, and adults, offering diverse support services including education, therapy, and counseling. This volunteer mission featured a variety of activities, ranging from upgrading the cooking classroom environment to hosting a hands-on cooking class with children with developmental disabilities. The outdated kitchen was completely revamped into the 'Com2uS Kitchen,' providing a safer and more pleasant space for culinary education.

Through collaboration with professional contractors, the remodeling saw the replacement of sinks, flooring, walls, and blinds, while new essential equipment such as digital ovens, prep tables, and storage cabinets were installed. During the cooking class, volunteers shared warm moments with the children while baking birthday cakes. Under the guidance of an instructor, the volunteers and children worked together to finish the cakes, which were then delivered to their respective homes.

The Com2uS employees who participated in the service shared their thoughts, stating, "It was deeply meaningful to personally help improve the cooking classroom for disabled individuals," and "Spending warm time making cakes with the children made the experience even more special."

Meanwhile, beyond this volunteer activity, Com2uS continues its commitment to community service through initiatives such as art and dementia prevention programs for local seniors and the production of Braille writing tools for visually impaired children.
