Nimble Neuron, a subsidiary of Neptune, has added the 82nd character, 'Shurin', to their self-developed and published PC title, Eternal Return.

Shurin enters the fray as a melee combatant defined by the 'Chosen by the Sword' concept. The character carries the backstory of a devoted guardian sworn to protect a village and a blade. Having grown up alongside a legendary weapon, Shurin nurtured dreams of guardianship. When a mysterious blaze engulfed the village, Shurin's desperate cry awakened the sword's spirit, allowing the blade to surge to life and avert disaster. Now, Shurin has set foot on Lumia Island as both the master and the guardian of the sword.

Shurin brings a robust kit to the battlefield: 'Flying Sword Residual' allows Shurin to launch a blade that deals continuous skill damage to enemies in its path; 'Infinite Sword Formation' envelops Shurin in blades, granting immunity to crowd control and blocking all incoming damage for a set duration; 'Flash Step' lets Shurin dash in a target direction, dealing damage and slowing enemies; and 'Sword Return' creates an area of effect where blades rain down to strike targets.

Beyond the arrival of Shurin, Nimble Neuron is celebrating the 2nd anniversary of Eternal Return with some flashy '2nd Anniversary Eva and Elena' skins. Players can also dive into a series of anniversary events to snag new in-game lobby backgrounds and emotes.
