Kakao Games announced on the 28th that the company has secured a global publishing agreement for 'Dungeon Arise', a new title developed by TinyFun Games.

'Dungeon Arise' is a strategic adventure RPG designed for effortless one-handed play. The title features hack-and-slash combat involving squads of up to seven heroes chosen from a roster of over 50, alongside a kingdom-building system that allows for bespoke structure customisation. Both mobile and PC platforms are supported, ensuring players can engage with the game in whatever manner suits their playstyle.

Through this deal, Kakao Games has obtained the domestic and global publishing rights for 'Dungeon Arise'. Leveraging a history of delivering titles to a worldwide audience, the publisher intends to deploy extensive marketing efforts while ensuring service stability. TinyFun Games, meanwhile, is focusing its resources on development to guarantee a smooth launch and has committed to a long-term roadmap of content updates.

Kakao Games CEO Han Sang-woo remarked, "It is truly meaningful to take charge of the global service for 'Dungeon Arise', a title that delivers the punchy action, character progression, and kingdom management mechanics with such accessibility." By diversifying into subculture simulation games, retro-styled MMORPGs, and strategic adventure RPGs, the publisher aims to cater to a broad spectrum of global player preferences.
