The Korean regional qualifiers for the Delta Force Invitational Global League (hereafter DFI) will be broadcast live via SOOP (formerly AfreecaTV).

SOOP announced that it will live-stream the DFI Korea Qualifier, the official domestic esports tournament for the military FPS Delta Force, from August 9 to 10. As the inaugural official league to determine Korea's representatives, the tournament kicks off with qualifiers starting on August 6, featuring a total of 24 competing teams.

Delta Force is an FPS title developed by Team Jade, a studio under the Tencent umbrella. The gameplay centers around large-scale 32v32 Warfare modes and the tactical, objective-driven Beacon Area mode.

Every match of this DFI Korea Qualifier will be contested in the 'Beacon Area' mode. Spanning four days, the tournament begins with qualifiers on August 6 and 7, followed by the semi-finals on the 9th and the grand final on the 10th. For the qualifiers and semi-finals, the 24 teams are divided into groups of six. In the final showdown, the top six contenders will battle for a 10 million KRW prize pool and the right to represent Korea.

The winning team will consist of three active players and one substitute, who will then head to Hangzhou, China, this September to compete as the sole Korean representative in the global finals. Any Delta Force user born in or before 2006 is eligible to apply, with registration open via the official Delta Force lounge until August 3.
