Open-world RPG Tower of Fantasy has reached its three-year milestone, and to mark the occasion, the version 5.2 update, 'Dream of Homecoming,' went live on the 23rd. This update brings a fresh main story arc, a brand-new region, and the introduction of the new simulacrum, 'Hipper'.

The new main story, 'Lost Universe: Difficult Dream of Homecoming,' kicks off with a reunion of returnees—a gathering that has been dormant for years. When the event's organizer, Grandmother Laura, is killed by the Hope Fleet, the chaos deepens as Laurent, leader of the Wallflower Pirates, insists on taking charge of the funeral. Caught in the crossfire, Hipper, a member of the Hope Fleet and a former student of Grandmother Laura, decides to attend the ceremony. As tensions between the Hope Fleet and the pirates escalate in the wake of Grandmother Laura's passing, you will have to dive into the game to see if Hipper can make it out unscathed.

The update also unveils a new region, 'Urd Belt'. It is a forbidden zone riddled with spacetime turbulence and asteroids, hiding plenty of secrets and dangers for pioneers to uncover. Alongside the map, the limited-time simulacrum 'Hipper', along with the exclusive weapon 'AF-010 Servant' and the 'Hipper Chipset', are now available. You can explore Hipper's inner world through the story and even unlock Hipper's quarters post-update. For those looking to soak up some sun, the premium summer-themed swimsuit costume, 'Alluring Summer', is also available for a limited time.

The third-anniversary celebration, 'Starlight Summer Festival', is officially underway. It features four summer-themed events, including 'Starfire' and 'Strategy Master'. In 'Starfire', you complete daily missions to earn flare ships, which can be used to summon slumbering bosses at base camps via wishes. 'Strategy Master' offers a more intense experience, where you fight for survival on a stage; you must stay alive for 90 seconds per round and utilize your own tactics to secure the ultimate rewards.

If you log in for a cumulative total of nine days during the anniversary check-in event, you can snag 20 gacha tickets exclusive to Hipper. Furthermore, the new version rewards have been reset; logging in for seven days grants you 10 Red Nucleus and 1,000 Dark Crystals. In total, players can rake in up to 374 gacha pulls by participating in all the anniversary events.
