A major online tournament for Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond is being held.

Cygames announced on the 30th that registration has opened for the 'Shadowverse Online Championship 2025 August,' a major online tournament for the competitive digital card game 'Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond.'

This online tournament features a total prize pool of 5 million JPY (approximately 47 million KRW) and will be held twice, in August and November. The top two players from each tournament will be granted a spot in the 'Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025.' Registration is open to anyone 13 years or older residing in Japan, or 19 years or older for those residing overseas, including Korea.

Applicants can register via the special event website until August 10th, and the final list of participants will be announced on August 20th through the dedicated app, 'Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond Tournament Navigator.'

The qualifiers will be held online on August 23rd and 24th. The tournament will use a Swiss system format where players construct two decks and face off against opponents with the same record in best-of-one (2-deck BO1) matches. The finals will take place immediately after the qualifiers conclude on the final day, using a best-of-three (BO3) single-elimination format to determine the winner.
