Riot Games has launched the latest set, 'K.O. Colosseum,' for Teamfight Tactics (TFT), the strategy title rooted in the League of Legends universe.

In this set, players can dive into anime-inspired content alongside new systems designed to shake things up. The 'Power Up' mechanic is particularly noteworthy, allowing for unit-specific enhancements to gain the upper hand. These Power Ups are not restricted to one unit, permitting flexible playstyles across your board.

The skill effects have also received a flashy overhaul. ▲ You will encounter 5-cost units with spectacular abilities, such as 'Gwen', who weaves threads to damage all enemies, and the wrestler-inspired 'Braum', who stuns and spins targets before tossing those below a certain health threshold off the board. Beyond these, you can explore 'Spirit Blossom' themed content, including the 'Prestige Chibi Spirit Blossom Ahri', alongside various cosmetic 'Portals' inspired by animation tropes.

Meanwhile, Riot Games is set to launch the new esports tournament, 'Teamfight Tactics Pro Circuit' (Pro Circuit), starting in August. As a high-stakes tier above the 'Tactician's Cup,' the Pro Circuit features top performers from the previous set. Three tournaments will be held per set, with 32 players competing across four regions. The first tournament kicks off on Friday, August 29, featuring six Korean representatives including T1's 'Bintteum' Kang Sung-jun. Individual player perspectives will be streamed separately.

Following the events in Las Vegas and Macau, the largest offline TFT spectacle, 'TFT Paris Open', is making a return this year. The TFT Paris Open is scheduled to take place from Friday, December 12, to Sunday, December 14. A total of 768 players will compete at 'Paris Expo Porte de Versailles', with additional festivities including developer talks and influencer events.
