On the 31st, Mgame announced that it has rolled out the 'Mamluk' update for its 2D side-scrolling martial arts MMORPG 'Ghost Online M', accompanied by a sizeable celebratory event.

The new class, 'Mamluk', becomes available once you hit level 60. To get you started, the developer provides level 50 weapons and armor right out of the gate. Plus, they have thrown in an extra free character slot to ease the burden on your roster space.

As for the lore, the 'Mamluk' hails from an elite Sultan-led warrior unit trained in both blade and hidden weapon combat. They are essentially a versatile class capable of switching between melee and ranged strikes, allowing for tactical play in varied combat scenarios.

That is not all. The level cap has been increased from 120 to 140, and with it come two fresh regions: 'Old Ferry' and 'Baekgwi Blood Road'. Naturally, this expansion also brings a host of new content, including regional and yokai compendiums, along with new quests.

The update also introduces legendary-grade spirits 'Donggwakeun' and 'Haumu'. Furthermore, a new 'Transcendence Synthesis' system allows you to guarantee a legendary spirit by combining four relic-grade ones, provided you already own the target legendary spirit.

To celebrate the arrival of the Mamluk, Mgame is running a pair of 7-day attendance events until the 27th of next month. These are open to characters level 40 and above, and level 10 and above, respectively.

If you are planning to main the new class, there is also a 'Level Achievement Event' running until October 22nd, offering rewards for hitting specific milestones.

Director Cho Gwang-cheol, the head of 'Ghost Online M' at Mgame, stated, "This update is packed with content players have been clamoring for, including the new class, the level cap increase, and new legendary spirits," adding that the team remains committed to providing consistent updates and diverse events.
