Look, if you've been itching to get your hands on Nihon Falcom’s latest action RPG, GamePia is opening pre-orders for the physical edition of 'Ys X -Nordics- Uncut Version' (hereinafter 'Nordics') starting on the 5th. Rest assured, the game officially supports Korean subtitles.

This release builds upon the 2023 title 'Ys X -Nordics-' by throwing in a fresh story, new maps, and challenging bosses. The protagonists, Adol and Karja, will find themselves crossing paths with another duo of 'Mana users' on the newly introduced 'Oeland Island'.

To ramp up the action, the developer has added the 'Mana Hold' ability, which lets players lift or hurl objects, and the 'Mana Ride' challenge, where players dash across the island's terrain. For those craving a scrap, the 'Bergen Arena' and the new 'Muspelheim' dungeon are waiting to test your mettle.

If you manage to snag a first-run copy of the Switch 2 package, you will receive a limited edition box that includes an original soundtrack CD. It features all the new tracks composed for the field, dungeons, and event cutscenes in 'Nordics'.

Pre-orders for the physical version run from August 5th to August 20th through online retailers, including Soprano. The official domestic release date is set for August 21st, and the game is rated for ages 18 and up.
