SEGA Publishing Korea has unveiled the first gameplay footage for the new 'Virtua Fighter' project at EVO 2025, the premier fighting game tournament held in Las Vegas.

The footage highlights a realistic bout between series veteran Akira and a newcomer, Stella. The video shows Akira throwing a punch at Stella, followed by Stella returning the favor with a strike of their own.

Early in the clip, Akira parries an attack from Stella and follows up with a palm strike to the face, dealing significant impact. The video concludes with a dramatic slow-motion sequence where Akira takes a spinning kick from Stella, resulting in a tooth being knocked out—likely a visceral touch for counter-hits or a post-match victory animation.

Further details on the new Virtua Fighter project will be unveiled on the SEGA and Atlus stage at Tokyo Game Show 2025, running from September 25 to 28.
