A Gale Blows Through 'Field of Fate'!

The talk of the town in the B&S Revolution community this week has been the event war zone, Field of Fate. You can jump into the fray by tapping the event icon in the top left of your screen. Be warned, though: this is an event zone where convenient travel and free fast travel saves are disabled.

Why endure such inconvenience? Well, the rewards are actually worth it. Defeating the monsters here nets you various resources essential for character growth, and there is a lovely EXP buff that lasts for two hours. You can also participate in the Altar of Origin, which is running alongside it.

If you are diving into this content daily, you might as well take part in the official community verification event. Just snap a screenshot of your character enjoying the Field of Fate and post it to the 'A Gale Blows Through Field of Fate!' thread on the event board. The event runs from July 29 to August 11, and 50 lucky winners will be drawn to receive 500 Black Crystals. It is a perfect weekend activity, so enjoy the content with your fellow players and try your luck at the draw.

One user, 'Gabriel', asked if there were specific conditions for rewards after participating in a boss raid without receiving anything. Another user, 'CuteKyungah', provided a detailed explanation, and judging by Gabriel's follow-up, the confusion seems to have been cleared up.

The conditions were clearly outlined in the previous Field of Fate update notes. The boss monster info specifies exactly how many players receive contribution rewards: a maximum of 10 for 'Faction Boss Monsters (Cerulean Order/Crimson Legion)' and a maximum of 20 for 'Field of Fate Neutral Boss Monsters'. Rewards are distributed based on damage contribution rankings for those specific numbers. Make sure you keep these criteria in mind before heading into the event field.

Celebrating World Cat Day with 'Lucky Cat'

GM Harin has prepared a little surprise. August 8 is 'World Cat Day', established by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW). To celebrate, players can access the 'Shop - Surprise Shop - Cat Shop' tab from August 7 to August 9.

You can grab a 'World Cat Day Commemorative Gift Box' for a measly 88 Silver. It contains one 'Top-tier Ancient Comprehensive Restoration Stone Selection Box' and one 'Cat Jelly'. Using the latter grants a 'Combat EXP Gain Increase' buff. There are also two packages available: the 'Lucky Cat Package' and the 'Lucky Cat Deluxe Package', both loaded with Crystal Pouches, tickets, and summon boxes. Are you keeping up with your 'Miho Swordsman 28-Day Attendance' check-ins? This week's nonogram is inspired by the '100% Ancient Damage Restoration Coupon', the star reward of that very event. Let's try drawing the restoration icon. Since it is a 100% coupon, maybe drawing it by hand will help fix durability and reinforcement all at once!

Luckily, the difficulty isn't as brutal as actual damage restoration. The circular border of the icon provided a decent distribution of numbers, so I didn't have to fiddle with the difficulty too much. The top left has large numbers, making it easy to capture the shape. The bottom left is a bit more demanding, as the complex patterns at the bottom don't leave much room for simplification. Still, it should be as easy to solve as a 100% restoration.

A/S Update! 'Miho Swordsman'

We are now entering the second week of the Miho Swordsman's arrival. According to the user polls on KookminTree's Meca Ranking, you all gave the design high marks. Performance, however, remains a point of contention with mixed reviews, suggesting that more research is still needed.

B&S Revolution always follows up a new job release with an 'A/S' update within a week or two to fix bugs or adjust balance. The Miho Swordsman was no exception. We saw adjustments to the 'Fragment' 3rd style's invincibility (now resistance to crowd control), improvements to the feel of 'Harmonious Spirit', and block added during the casting of 'Swallow Slice'. These tweaks have been well-received, helping the class land a 2nd place spot in its debut Meca Ranking.
