Q. I can't equip the 'Taegeuk Gem'

Player 'Gaira' meticulously prepared their equipment, ready to slot in the Taegeuk Gem. However, the approach seems to have gone slightly awry. It appears 'Gaira' performed a 'Blessing' rather than an 'Awakening'. Blessings are for general equipment upgrades and have nothing to do with this particular gem.

To equip a Taegeuk Gem, you need 'Awakening', not 'Blessing'. Furthermore, Awakening requires Ancient grade gear at +10 enhancement or higher. Only once you reach 1st Awakening, Phase 0, can you slot the gem. While Blessings use gear of the same grade and slot as materials, Awakening demands specific items like 'Metal, Ore, and Sacred Object Crystals'. From August 12 to August 25, 'GM Harin' is hosting a Blade & Soul Revolution mock exam. All you need to participate is your sharp memory and keen intuition. There are three questions covering combat systems, content names, and survival skills. They are simple enough for even the newest recruits to handle.

When the Miho Swordmaster first appeared in our Meca Ranking, it nearly toppled the Shaman from the top spot. Unfortunately, the momentum stalled in the second week. The gap between the class and the Shaman widened by 5 percentage points, making an immediate resurgence look like a tall order.

The decline likely stems from the recent update cycle. While the initial hotfix brought significant balance changes to martial arts, the subsequent regular update only slightly reduced the casting time for 'Soul Lineage'. This seems to have left the community feeling that the class's performance has hit a plateau.

However, there is still hope. With class balance adjustments scheduled for August, there is room for improvement. Even though the developer notes didn't specifically list the Miho Swordmaster as a priority during the initial launch window, we can keep our fingers crossed.
