The 'Mesa' update, which dropped on the 12th, introduces an arid, scorching desert environment. Climbers must now contend with sandstorms, cacti, and rather hostile insects. To help you survive the climb, the developer added tools like parasols, sunscreen, balloons, scout cannons, aloe vera, and dynamite.

Coupled with a launch-equivalent discount, the update has seen a surge in new reviews. Even with this influx, the game maintains a 'Very Positive' rating (16,015 reviews, 92% positive) over the last seven days. With its cooperative climbing mechanics proving to be a hit and the title remaining at the top of the sales charts, this hot streak shows no signs of cooling down anytime soon.

Elsewhere on the Steam global top sellers list, Relic Entertainment’s Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Complete Edition launched on the 15th, securing a spot near the top.
