DreamAge has officially launched the isekai rewrite fantasy RPG 'OZ Re:write' in Japan, a title developed by Makovill and serviced by the company itself.

OZ Re:write is a collectible RPG that leans heavily into animated sequences and 2D graphics, set against the backdrop of an isekai rewrite fantasy where modern civilisation meets the world of fairy tales.

The game features 42 heroes inspired by classic fairy tales, each boasting their own unique narrative. It relies on simple controls and an intuitive combat system that rewards strategic planning. You can also engage with these characters through the 'Mirrorgram' system, an SNS-style feature designed to build rapport through everyday conversations.

The main story is fully voiced by a star-studded local cast. The voice acting includes Kotono Mitsuishi as 'Ingrid', Shizuka Ito as 'Scheherazade', and Ayane Sakura as 'Belle'.

To celebrate the official Japanese launch, DreamAge has introduced a new character, 'Belle'. Belle is a hero of the Star Fairy race who wields the power of 'Stardust', and Belle can be obtained through a limited-time pick-up event running until September 1st.

Meanwhile, OZ Re:write has been running a 'co-creation' project since before its official launch, allowing users to directly participate in defining the basic concepts, personalities, and visual designs of the characters. DreamAge intends to continue enhancing the joys of relationship-oriented storytelling through ongoing communication with the player base.
