The second-half collaboration for 'Goddess of Victory: NIKKE' has been revealed, and it's a massive one—Resident Evil is coming to the fray. We’ve had a quick 30-second look at what’s coming, and it’s already got the rumor mill spinning about which characters will make the cut. Meanwhile, the Solo Raid 'Gethsemane' is live, and commanders are busy deploying their best Burn-code units to get the job done. Resident Evil Collaboration Teased

On August 21st, the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE x Resident Evil collaboration was officially announced. The short teaser gave us a glimpse of a silhouette that has everyone guessing, alongside the iconic Jill Valentine. The NIKKE side of things showed the Commander, D, and Poli. While the finer details and dates are still under wraps, the prospect of these two worlds clashing is certainly something to watch.

Solo Raid: Gethsemane

Solo Raid Season 28 is officially underway. The boss is Gethsemane, a nasty piece of work from the new area, and you’ll want to bring your Burn-code units to exploit that weakness. You’ll need to target those 'round eyes' to break its suppression beams if you hope to clear it. The raid closes on August 28th at 4:59 AM. Don't forget to jump in to farm those precious materials for upgrading Keepsakes and Collectibles.

Testing the Solo Efficiency of Eunhwa

There’s been some chatter on Blabla about whether Eunhwa: Tactical Upgrade can hold her own outside of the specific synergy setup with Emma: Tactical Upgrade. Since Eunhwa lacks the specific restriction effects found in Emma’s kit, some players are testing if she can stand alone.

A user known as 'sanshika' on Blabla ran a test using Eunhwa: Tactical Upgrade in a Burst 2 slot for an Electric-code squad led by Cinderella. With Eunhwa at skill levels 7/9/9, they compared her performance against Mary, a staple of the existing Electric squad. The results? The Cinderella squad hit 7.2 billion damage with Eunhwa, compared to 7.8 billion with Mary. It seems the trade-off between charge/damage-taken buffs and pure attack/damage modifiers is quite significant. Check out Blabla for more deep dives into Absolute Squad theorycrafting.

Are the Silver Mileage Shop items fixed?

The Silver Mileage you earn from regular recruits is notoriously limited in its utility. A common question popping up is, 'Are these shop items fixed?' Well, the answer is a resounding yes; the inventory is set in stone.

You can purchase Spare Bodies for various NIKKEs, though this excludes Keepsake-enabled ones. Many commanders use this for Pilgrim Noah or anniversary freebie units. A friendly reminder to newcomers: what you’re buying are Spare Bodies for Limit Breaking, not the actual character unit. Please be careful not to make a mistake when spending your currency.

The Firepower Specialist: Vesti: Tactical Upgrade

Let’s take a look at Vesti: Tactical Upgrade. Like Emma and Eunhwa before her, Vesti has received the Tactical Upgrade treatment. To handle her role as the squad’s heavy hitter, she’s equipped with a massive rocket launcher and missile pods that look suspiciously like wings, depending on your perspective.

Her skill 'Missile Guide' (Skill 1) functions in two states: 'Full Charge' and 'Max Ammo Reload'. Upon a full charge, if she isn't in 'Missile Guide' mode, it grants her a buff to charge speed and damage for three shots. Once she reloads her max ammo, the state is removed.

Skill 2, 'Monster Stage', triggers three effects upon a full charge hit. It deals damage proportional to final attack (ignoring defense), grants an attack buff for 3 seconds if she has Emma’s 'Field Formation' buff, and increases damage taken by enemies hit by 'Internal Explosive Shells' if applied by Eunhwa.

Her Burst, 'Missile Container Online', grants her a 10-second buff to explosion radius and defense-ignoring damage, while simultaneously raining fire on all enemies, parts included.

As the final piece of the Absolute Squad, Vesti: Tactical Upgrade is struggling a bit. Her unique launcher animations often lead to DPS losses, and her skill scaling hasn't quite lived up to the hype. Plus, being tethered to Emma and Eunhwa hurts squad flexibility. If you do use her, keep in mind that her Skill 1 requires ammunition management—try to aim for a multiple of 4 when rolling Overload gear stats.

Vesti was always a heavy hitter, even before the Tactical Upgrade. Lore-wise, she aced the Absolute Squad entrance exam and has a 'trigger-happy' personality that borders on the unsettling. She’s prone to saying some rather chilling things while letting loose, but the massive firepower she brings to the table is hard to argue with.

The Tactical Upgrade has slowed her down, but she’s now essentially a walking missile silo. You can see this in her Burst cutscene. Despite this, she’s the one who suggests a squad vacation to help Eunhwa open up. Of course, a wild Rapture appears and ruins everything, leading to a hilarious outburst from Vesti. You’ll have to check the story event to see that one play out.

The Big Three vs. The Central Government

We recently ran a poll comparing Absolute and Matis. Absolute took the win, so I suppose the 'Tactical' squad comes out on top. One has to wonder, did Matis lose because of their 'hero' and 'villain' antics? Maxwell might be nodding along, but I’m sure it’s just my imagination. It’s a shame the Tactical Upgrade performance doesn't quite match the stellar writing.
